     Words are divided into different kinds called "parts of Speech", according to their use, that is, according to the work they do in a sentence. The Parts of Speech are Eight in number, and they are explained with Full Details given Below.we only showed 4 types in this post and remaining 4 types are posted in another link -

1. Noun : A Noun is a Word used as the name of the Person, Place  or thing; as given example
   Ex: 1. Akbar was a great king.
          2. The Sun Shines bright.
          3. The Rose is beautiful.

2. Pronoun: A Pronoun is a word used instead of a Noun.
   Ex. Hari is absent, because he is ill.
          I am running in the ground.

3. Adjectives: A word is used with a noun to describe or point out, the person, animal, place or thing. which the noun names, or to tell the number or quantity is called an Adjective.

   Ex: Sita is a Clever Girl.
          The boy is lazy.

4. Verb: A verb is a word that tells or asserts something about a person or thing .
     A verb may tell us-
     i) What a person or thing does: as - Hari laughs
     ii) What is done to a person or thing; as - Hari is Scolded.
     iii) What a person or thing is; as - The cat is dead.
